From planning and design to construction and materials, we'll walk you through every step of the process to help you replace your trim and doors.

Step 1: Find Ideas and Inspirations

There are endless styles of doors, trim, and hardware available to choose from. When deciding which direction you would like to pursue check out websites such as Houzz, Pinterest and Instagram for ideas.

Inspiration can also come from anywhere in the world, including your friend’s or family’s houses, magazines, TV or the Internet. Bring a photo or sample of your inspirations to a Turkstra Lumber branch and discuss with your project coach. You can also visit our Turkstra Design Centre in Stoney Creek to see physical samples of interior doors as well as hardware and trim. All of our stores also supply a variety of brochures with product information and project ideas in our Build-It-Better Centres.
