Step 5: Measure Your Windows

Basic window measurements are required to get a price together for your project. The easiest way to measure your windows yourself is to measure the inside of the frame, in width and height. Pay special attention to any shapes that are not rectangular or square, such as arches or segments. A quick sketch of each window, or picture with the accompanying measurements will help speed up the quoting process substantially. Also include any relevant room and location label.
