Every Turkstra branch has professional estimators on staff. Send us your plans, a sketch, or just your dimensions, and we'll come back with a complete material list you can build from.

Whether you're a builder pricing a full house, a contractor on a renovation, or a homeowner building your first deck, the work is the same: nothing missed, nothing padded.

How to get started

1. Start with our online quote request form and we'll follow up for your plans, or email them to your branch directly.
2. We'll confirm the details with you and give you a timeline. A deck or a window order usually turns around quickly; a full house takes longer.
3. You get a complete material list with pricing, free of charge.

What You'll Receive

You'll get a detailed material list, with every item, quantity and product specified, priced as of the day we prepare it.

Two things can move from there.

Pricing. Building material costs move with the market, framing lumber most of all. The prices on your list are current the day it's produced. When you're ready to order, we'll confirm pricing with you before anything ships, so there are no surprises between quote and delivery.

Quantities. We build the list from the plans, drawings or measurements you provide. If the plans change, the site conditions differ, or you revise a window or trim selection partway through, the list changes with it. Cutting, waste and site efficiency also affect what a job actually consumes.

Your estimator will walk you through the assumptions behind the list — spans, spacing, waste factors, what's included and what isn't — so you know where the numbers came from and what to check before you order.
