1 step steel stair stringer allows the construction of a solid and durable staircase. Designed in one piece, this stair stringer is ready to receive a steel, fiberglass, or wood step (use two 2 in x 6 in boards or one 2 in x 12 in board), etc. Lightweight and easy to handle, it sets up quickly and easily. Baked powder coating finish provides excellent rust resistance.
Ideal for a 15 in high structure, it is also suitable for a structure between 11-½ in and 18-½ in high. The stair stringer allows for the installation of a 11 in deep step. Maximum spacing between stringers: 66 in for residential project and 49 in for commercial projects. Allowable load of 100 lbs per square foot and ultimate load of 144 lbs per square foot.
