Step 2: Determine Your Budget

A fence can serve many purposes, from keeping people out, keeping children and pets in, securing privacy, and following bylaws for such things as pools. As you can imagine, based on the functionality and aesthetics of the space, your budget will vary largely. Before going into detail on your “wants”, you will first want to create a budget and assure that your “needs” are met. The first big question will be the desired size of the fence, followed by type of material, and so on.
