Step 5: Verifying Building Code Restrictions
Where building code and lot line restrictions occur, wood siding cannot be used when a fire-resistant wall assembly is required. To ensure compliance with the building code, you will have to do your own research and inquiries. If using a contractor or Turkstra-certified referral, the contractor will be able to assist with issues regarding the building code and how to comply with regulations.
